Daytime or evening performances start at 3 × 30-minute sets across a 3-hour window. Sets can be split into different lengths for the time equivalent. Visit the Packages page for more info, or get in touch for a tailored quote.
Most requests are for Ibiza or club-style party sax (see example playlist) but I happily play with Motown, Soul, 90s pop and more for the evening. Indie rock doesn't quite suit the sax — I'd usually suggest playing that between live sets. In the daytime I offer acoustic / chill covers of pop songs, jazz standards and any other relaxing music you can think of.
Yes - I'm happy to travel anywhere. Anything over an hour from Chester city centre will have additional travel costs, and locations over 2 hours away will also need to cover accommodation.
Of course. Just share their details and I'll liaise with them about music preferences and how I'll plug into their controller. It usually lands better if you mention up front that I'll need to plug in. If they're being particularly difficult - I'm more than happy to DJ myself, or recommend a DJ colleague I work with regularly.
Short answer - no. I have a PA system that can fill large rooms easily. That said, I really recommend a DJ at your event: they create a next-level party, give me energy to bounce off, read the room all night and handle awkward announcements so you don't have to. Happy to recommend DJs I work with regularly - just ask.
Yes - I'll liaise with your venue to make sure everything goes smoothly on the day. It's also really important that you allow me enough time for a proper soundcheck so I know how loud I can go.
Yes. I keep all of my certificates up to date and am happy to send them directly to your venue (they may call it PLI or liability insurance). All equipment is tested annually.
Every event is different, so each quote is personal to you. Prices start at £650 for either daytime or evening sax. Travel and accommodation may be needed for longer-distance bookings. More info on the Packages page.
The initial payment is 25% of the grand total. This is a booking fee that covers all admin costs.
After your initial 25% payment, a further 25% is due 6 months before the event date. The final 50% is due 1 month before the event. Other plans are available - just ask.
Head to the contact form, fill out your details, and I'll be in touch as soon as I can. If I'm available for your date, you'll receive a link to your Client Portal with your quote and contract to read through and sign. We'll usually jump on a quick call to go through your options. Once you're happy, accept your quote and an invoice will be created. Your booking is confirmed once you've electronically signed the contract and put down the initial payment.
You're fully booked once you've signed your online contract and paid the initial payment — you'll receive an email confirming both. From there, you can keep in touch via email whenever you wish. The team will check in around 1 month before your event with a questionnaire, and you have the option to book a final call a few weeks before to go through the finer details. On the day itself — relax and enjoy.
Yes — I donate a percentage of every booking to a charity of my choice. This year it's the Seashell Trust, helping children with severe learning difficulties. I also plant two trees per booking.
